Qpercom Assessment Platform Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Non-Remote & General Assessment FAQs

Why am I getting a system message that I have entered an invalid range for questions within a self assessment section?

A self assessment section works differently to standard sections and has specific validation in place when it comes to scoring values. You must choose unique scoring values for all answers within each item so two possible answers do not have the same value.

How do I link self assessment data to a self assessment section within a scoresheet?

Attach your scoresheet to a station, check the self assessment checkbox in the section settings, click update, and then link the section to your imported self assessment data.

How can I add a Rest Station to a session?

Navigate to Manage Stations within your session, click Add, specify the station order number, choose the Rest option from the Station Type dropdown, and click Add.

Why are feedback comments not appearing in candidate feedback PDF reports?

Ensure the ‘Internal Feedback Only’ setting is unchecked within all sections of your scoresheet. If enabled, comments are only viewable by your internal assessment team.

How do I move my scoresheets to a new year in the scoresheet bank?

Select the scoresheets via their checkboxes, scroll to the bottom of the list, choose “attach to year…” from the drop-down menu, and click Go.

How do I upload self-assessment scores onto a scoresheet?

Import questions and answers using the provided .xlsx template, add a self-assessment section to a scoresheet, attach it to a station, and then link your questions to the section.

How can I delete all of the results for an assessment?

Click the histogram for the assessment, check the Unlock Delete checkbox on the analysis page, click Delete, and complete the confirmation prompts.

Change the default number of assessors for stations in an assessment.

Before creating sessions, choose the required number of default assessors from the assessment settings dropdown. For ongoing exams, update this individually in Manage Stations.

Can I check who has logged in/view an audit trail on Qpercom?

Navigate to Admin Tools and choose View Audit Trail to see timestamps and IP addresses for users logging in, which can be filtered by date range or keyword.

Is there a way to bulk upload exam numbers for candidates sitting an assessment?

Add a CANDIDATE_NUMBER column to your import template and use the Identifier for Assessment setting. Remember candidate numbers are unique per year.

I cannot access my list of previously uploaded candidates within manage groups?

Ensure you selected the correct year, your user account is linked to that current year, and candidates were uploaded to the same year the assessment is taking place.

How do I add photos to candidate records?

Navigate to Import Candidate Images and upload a single ZIP archive containing images (GIF, JPEG, or PNG) named with the Candidate ID and file type.

How do I view Cronbach’s Alpha for my stations and overall assessment?

Check the Cronbach’s Alpha checkbox on the analysis page and click update/refresh to view the values in the final column of the summary table.

How can I specify the cut score for a station?

Edit the cut score for each station in Manage Stations prior to the assessment, or use the Rules tab during or after the assessment to make updates.

How can I move a candidate from one group to another within an assessment?

Remove them from their original group, refresh the page, and drag and drop them into the new group. Best practice is to do this during a break to minimise impact.

Can I add decimal values as cut scores?

Yes, Qpercom supports decimal precision of up to 3 decimal places.

Why can I not see the results and analysis page for an assessment?

The histogram icon will appear as soon as the first assessor begins entering scores and feedback comments.

Can I add written feedback on paper on behalf of an assessor?

Navigate to Conduct Assessment, select the assessor and candidate, click Assess or Update, add the feedback in the appropriate box, and submit.

How do I view scoresheets as a PDF for downloading or printing?
