These physical complaints are usually associated with a depressive disorder and involve:
- Difficulty Maintaining Sleep: Difficulty with sleep continuity, waking up several times a night, or waking up too early.
- Fatigue: People do not feel rested in the morning, and feel tired during the day.
- Intra-day Fluctuation: When a gradual change in mood and energy level takes place during the day. A positive intra-day fluctuation implies that people feel better, or at least less miserable, in the evening.
- Loss Of Appetite: People have a reduced or no appetite, food seems to have lost most or all of its flavour.
- Weight Loss: People lose weight unwillingly.
- Loss Of Libido: People have reduced sexual desire.
