Procedure
- Establish the first point of entry 1 cm from the wound margin and penetrate the entire cutis.
- Suture in two stages and exit [Figure 26-B] at the opposite wound margin, symmetrically from the first stitch.

- Make a second entry point on the same side as B [Figure 27-C] close to the wound margin but pass superficially (about 1 mm deep) through the skin.

- Enter the opposing wound margin intracutaneously and emerge again close to the edge of the wound [Figures 28-D, 29-D].

- Tie a knot above the first point of entry [Figure 29-A]. End result. The distances E and F must be very small (3-4 mm) and equal. Distance G must be equal to distance H (consistent entry depth) [Figures 30, 31].
