display: block;\">Figure 35<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Make a number of figure-of-eight turns between the wrist and the middle of the hand. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #003366;\">If the palm has been injured as well, allow some of these turns to pass across the palm towards the wrist.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #003366;\">End the bandaging with a circular turn around the wrist and attach the end of the bandage to this turn.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #003366;\">The bandage has been correctly applied if:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #003366;\">The thumb is free.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #003366;\">The bandage does not exert pressure on the body tissue between the thumb and index finger.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #003366;\">A padding layer has been placed between the fingers to ensure even distribution of pressure <em><strong>[Figure 36]<\/strong><\/em>.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span class=\"jce_caption\" style=\"display: inline-block;
