In particular, the development of synthetic<\/strong><\/span> and semi-synthetic fibres<\/strong><\/span> and improved processing<\/strong><\/span> of natural components<\/span> such as cotton and linen have made it possible to create a tailored dressing for any injury.<\/span><\/p>\n This program describes wound care<\/strong><\/span> and bandaging techniques<\/strong><\/span>. The theoretical background will be limited to information necessary in understanding how and why bandages are used. It is developed for a wide audience – general practitioners, specialist doctors, sports doctors, nurses, patient carers, physiotherapists, casting and bandaging practitioners, GP assistants and those in training for any of these roles.
