In this program the basic ENT surgical skills are discussed and explained. Specialist skills and examination techniques, applicable to ENT surgery clinics, will not be covered.
\nIn each section in this program the relevant history-taking is elaborated, is followed by a summary of the materials required for the examination. Subsequently, the examination technique is discussed. Following this, the findings in a healthy ear, nose, mouth, throat and neck are covered, which simultaneously touches upon the focus points during the examination. In the context of this program, the pathology, pathophysiology and treatment of the symptom will not be explored further.
