Are the sebaceous glands <span style=\"color: #33cccc;\"><strong>inflamed<\/strong><\/span>?<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Opening of the tear duct (<em>place index finger just beside the nasal bridge and pull the lower eyelid downwards<\/em>).<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Presence of discharge from these structures.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Shape of the eyelid crease.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #003366;\"><strong>Inspection Of The Tarsal Conjunctiva<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"color: #003366;\">To turn over the upper eyelid:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Place the rod of a long cotton bud onto the upper eyelid, just where the eye disappears into the eye socket<em><strong> [Figure 35]<\/strong><\/em>.
